The Itasca Fire Protection District has announced it has moved away from a direct-connect model for commercial fire alarms and they now allow monitoring by UL-listed central stations.
Leigh Fabbri, Director of Fire Prevention, has asked that the fire services be, “notified of trouble alarms at the protected premises in Itasca, so that we can follow up with the responsible party(s) to have the trouble condition restored/repaired as necessary. We would want the trouble report sent to this email ItascaFireprevention@itasca.com.”
Here is an example of the report format Mr. Fabbri requested: Account number/Subscriber name/Protected Premises address/Zone in trouble. Although, he said they would consider other formats that provide the same necessary information.
